02.Febexpecting the unexpected

In November I was ranting and confused on what I felt was an unfair situation I found myself in.

It’s sort of okay. The Board gave me an unexpected bonus. A much needed boost to our almost-nil savings.

It’s the beginning of the year so this is really a welcome news and I guess an expected action from my bossing after my discussion with them before December.

Money is tight everywhere. Every day there’s a company that let of x-numbers of employees or businesses that folded.

I know how lucky I am to receive a “gratuity”. I really shouldn’t complain but I hope they’d still review and finalise my actual pay.

    nowadays, gratuity is good; well better than nothing.

    oo nga kasi isip ko iba naman ang bonus sa salary increase di ba? Di bale sana kung malaki kita nang asawa ko I won’t be hankering after this, pero sa situation ngayon every penny counts.

    I ALSO NEGOTIATEd my salary , the Boss said, Im asking too much. Then I have OT everyday and it piles up and she said, I earned too much.
    I told her, ala TRUE french na prangka Talaga, no putting on gloves!lol

    “I dont know what you like.I work less,or work more, you dont like it .Lets be honest here, cant we?”

    nagulat siya, and said, ok we talk again about it some other time…
    Loko ba siya?
    wish ko lang, di ako tanggalin, haha
