02.Novtricks and many treats

Ah finally Halloween is officially over. Before I disappear for a few days, let me try and show you how Kelvin enjoyed this year’s treats.

He dressed as Spiderman for his Nursery party. The costume was reversible and he chose to wear the original red and blue. Daddy asserted he liked the black version better and spent a good few minutes trying to convince his son. But Kelvin knows what he wants now.

After nursery, we picked him up and I told hubby we should start with the rounds while there’s still light. Hubby bought this Harry Potter costume because the “cape” allows us to put a proper jacket on Kelvin without the fuss. It’s already cold and thankfully it was just 10C, not as bitter as last year.

Kelvin enjoyed this year’s trick-o-treating. Last year he wasn’t 100% healthy and we managed to convince him he should give his loot to his Kuya PJ. This year he was the first to knock on doors and was very lively with his “Trick or Treat”, no matter if he was bulol.

On our first turn around the corner, I realised we cannot ask Kelvin to give away his sweets anymore. He was already munching on them with gusto. When I reminded him we’ll still have dinner, he agreed. He was in high spirits I guess, because he didn’t whine or argue.

We just walked around our street and the next, then we dropped off his friends. At home, Kelvin agreed to eat his dinner and have just one more choco before we called it a night. Throughout dinner he was always  so excited when he hears someone knocking.

I think he was more excited about giving the sweets away rather than eating them. When our bowls were running low, he even dipped into his bucket

Well, it’s over but tonite I gave him one last taste of the make-believe world. This is his pajam I got from Primark for £4.50.

That’s Kelvin doing his Captain Hook impression. When I sat down he asked me to video him while he “fought” with Peter Pan. I wanted to upload it but I’m running out of time… next time maybe. I hope you all had a nice Halloween. And to those in Pinas, I know you all had a little, though possibly crowded, break.

I’m off to Moscow for a few days so this will be my last post until next week. Enjoy the weekend!

hi auee, is that you? i love your porma, so cool! i especially love the jacket.

those are beautiful, amazing costumes. hay, dito hindi masyado. i mean, you can buy the same old costumes year in and year out. meron ding spidey costumes dito, pero not as great as that one. a friend of mine na kinakarir ang halloween costumes would ask relatives abroad to buy costumes for her daughter. this year, she went to the US na to buy costumes.

ahhh, how cute of Kelvin in his Halloween costume. it reminds of the old time when kids used to do the same thing. this year is the first year when we didn’t have any trick-o-treaters even though i had some reserved chocolates, just in case. i turned off the door lights kasi, kaya walang nagawi.

Hi Auee. I love all of Kevin’s great costumes. He’s a lucky boy to have so many cool costumes to wear.

I love the idea of a reversible spider man outfit. I don’t think I’ve seen any of those here.

He looks cute as Harry Potter.

I adore the captain hook costume.

Yohan was also thrilled to give away candies to trick or treaters. He wasn’t feeling well that night but I still let him go around a few houses to collect treats. He’s not big on candies so it’s up his mom and dad to eat them.

I have something for you on my blog. Haven’t posted it yet though. Maybe tom.
