13.SepOMG! Led Zeppelin in concert!
Who the heck are these guys? Led Zeppelin that’s who!
Some trivia first, do you know that they dropped the “a” in Lead because they fear the Americans will pronounce it as “lid” as in “Lead the Dog”.
And do you know that Jack Black produced videos of fans asking Led for permission to use “Immigrant Song” in his film “School of Rock” (which I saw & loved)?
Well I just saw the news last night that these old rockers are doing a reunion concert at the o2 Arena! Thing is the tickets are limited & are sold for £125!!! But if you think about it, this could possibly be their last concert. So I am having a go at entering the ballot.
Please, please keep your fingers crossed that I get a ticket.

It took a lot of “refresh” attempts but I did manage to register for the ballot. Tell your hubby not to get frustrated with the access, the site’s probably dying due to bandwidth usage.
the immigrant song is one of my all time favorites. i have the school of rock DVD and the video of jack black’s request is in there.
i used to be a die hard ledzep fan. the love affair started when i was in 4th grade and i collected all their records.
the song remains the same is one of the first concert films i saw and to this day i get nostalgic when i hear the live version of stairway to heaven.
i’ve heard about their tour plans and i hope they reach southern california.
I will get a DVD soon. Normally I buy by batch, I just keep a list muna. I registered & SANA SANA I win.
This is history in the making. I don’t have any of their album. I’m waiting for their compilation instead.

to this day, I still enjoy the Song remains the same concert. too bad that John Bonham couldn’t join them anymore. I think the son, who appeared in the concert, is playing the drums for them. I wish I can watch it perform. These guys were my idols during the 70’s. Good luck to you.
