20.Junour refurbished garden
Caution: Photos galore ahead.
We bought two of these lavender bush. Buy 1 get 1 free kasi. And I know they’re easy to grow. I am hoping these will last at least a year with minimum care. They do smell great, but since they’re so small, I have to put my nose really close in order to see what the ‘fuss’ is about.
These plants are yet to bloom. Out of maybe 24 seedlings, I think 6 of them will die. They’re wilting right next to their healthy siblings.
So that’s my quickie garden. I’m serious about these lot now. I just bought a plant stand from ebay so I can start with potted plants, too. I’ve got some healthy money plants I’ve managed to grow indoors that I’d like to propagate(?) and I’m really keen on starting a mini-herb garden. We’ll see how it goes.

kainggit naman. Ang gaganda ng flowers! I wish I had a garden like that, too.
On my retirement, I plan to do bonsai. Mukhang aliw eh.
lovely garden!
Ang ganda naman niyan..nakakainggit talaga. I’ve never seen sunflowers like that ever. More pictures ha
auee, that was a very nice garden that you have. Kelvin must have been encouraged more to play and bum around there, i guess.
aha, at sonycybershot pala ang cam mo. again, i have to say you have taken very good photo shots to think na you used a point and shoot and cam.
grabe, i envy your garden. sana i can also grow them dito sa pinas…sarap ng feeling when you’re surrounded by lovely flowers…
ang ganda-ganda! na-encourage tuloy ako to do something about my small garden.
2 weeks? and they’re in bloom?
am inspired to start planting.
when i was in lahore, pakistan a few months ago, i was so fascinated with their flowers in bloom, such that i bought a few packets of seeds, but i wonder if they will grow here in manila.
I’m green with envy. Hope this green quip would travel to my hands so I can do some planting. Yun eh kung mabubuhay ang mga halaman! Last time I did, the dog just dug them. Sayang ang marigold at milflores. Tsk, tsk.
Enjoy your colorful flowers,
hi tito rolly… ah bonsai. I tried taking care of two but they died. I didn’t give them enough attention, sayang. I think that will really keep you occupied in your retirement.
hi jo… salamat.
hi Scrooch… the flowers are pretty. Tuwang-tuwa ako sa purchase kong yan, they’re really colourful.
hi feng… pansin mo yun lawn, not so pretty hehe That’s our next target, sabi ko kelangang mag-sabog ng seedlings. We’ll see.
hi rowena… Nanay ko nag-uwi ng mga seedlings before pero di daw tumubo. Pero “mainit” kasi kamay nun kaya who knows.
hi ladycess… pa-meke lang yan hehe
hi sexy mom… mature plants na kasi yung nasa Homebase kaya talagang ready to go na.
Try sowing the seeds in planters muna, inside the house para controlled. Fingers crossed they grow unlike my Nanay’s efforts with the seeds she bought here.
hi julie… sayang nga. Buti si Kelvin he’s old enough now. Nung una pinipiga yung flowers.
Wow, green thumb ka pala!
i also PLAN on putting up a small herb garden - more like an herb corner because i have limited space. I got the seeds from my blogger-friend Toni in Germany na. Let’s both keep our fingers crossed for our green projects.
hi chateau… it’s still early days. We’ll see by August if they’re still alive hehe
Wow, those are beautiful flowers. It must be refreshing to see all those beautiful blooms. Great shots!
Beautiful photos Auee
!
thanks KK
