06.Jun7 music for the rockin’ soul

aahh nakaka-adik ang blog, sabi ko busy ko pero eto na naman ako :-)

Julie tagged me to name seven (7) songs I’m listening to. Unfortunately I’m only listening to one artist – Metallica - so there won’t be any variety. I’m “preparing” for their concert so I’m attempting to memorise at least the choruses of their songs.

I’ve got 4 of their albums but these are the top 7 that I like repeating again & again & again…

1. Of Wolf and Man
2. For Whom The Bell Tolls
3. Enter Sandman
4. The Memory Remains
5. Nothing Else Matters
6. Whiplash
7. Master of Puppets

If you’re a fan too, you’ll notice my top 5 came from their Black Album. I wish I could put attach audio to this post so you’d see why I like these songs. Can you imagine me sitting in the train just playing these songs over & over on the way to work? By the time I get off I’m wide awake & ready to rock!

I’m not tagging anyone in particular, but do pick it up if you’re interested & let me know so I can check out you’re listening pleasures, too!

I love rock groups too. Guitar adlibs that goes on and on. Screeching voice that knows no limit. I love New Wave! Those Brit bands of the 80s. I can still sing their songs up to now. We (hubby’s)have several of the LPs saved, sitting and collecting dust in the library. The tapes (mine) are still here too. Of course, I don’t get to listen to them now but these are just waiting to be played. Soon…

hi julie, my hubby’s so into New Wave. I like it too but mostly the popular tunes lang. You should see my husband’s collection. Last year he went shopping-crazy & even back-ordered some hard to find albums of some artists that I’ve never heard of. When we were just dating he used to talk to me about Morrisey a lot who by the way is back again.

one of my dreams – to sing “enter sandman” with a band in a small bar somewhere.

  13. auee Says:

Naku ka-batjay I’m sure you will realise that dream, why not record one & put it up along with your other songs?

Ako hanggang sa imagination ko lang yan, I’m afraid if I try to sing eggs will be the nicest things I’d receive.
