Nope, that’s not a handheld speed camera. It’s the coolest must-have for those wanting to know more about the night sky. Meade and OpticsPlanet.com are proud to introduce Meade MySKY, billed as the best handheld sky exploration guide.

For more seasoned hobbyists, you will notice that Meade MySky is similar to the Celestron SkyScout. But Meade MySky comes with a full-colour LCD screen and with audio, still images and textual information support to transform any casual stargazers into budding astronomers.

Meade MySky is certainly a gift kids will love, but will also be suitable for anyone looking for unusual but creative presents. Or perhaps even something you can keep for yourself?

Use Meade MySky to point and shoot your way to knowledge about the galaxy.

OpticsPlanet.com is a Meade MySky stockist. They’re offering a free UPS for all orders above $29.95!

7 music for the rockin’ soul

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

aahh nakaka-adik ang blog, sabi ko busy ko pero eto na naman ako :-)

Julie tagged me to name seven (7) songs I’m listening to. Unfortunately I’m only listening to one artist – Metallica - so there won’t be any variety. I’m “preparing” for their concert so I’m attempting to memorise at least the choruses of their songs.

I’ve got 4 of their albums but these are the top 7 that I like repeating again & again & again…

1. Of Wolf and Man
2. For Whom The Bell Tolls
3. Enter Sandman
4. The Memory Remains
5. Nothing Else Matters
6. Whiplash
7. Master of Puppets

If you’re a fan too, you’ll notice my top 5 came from their Black Album. I wish I could put attach audio to this post so you’d see why I like these songs. Can you imagine me sitting in the train just playing these songs over & over on the way to work? By the time I get off I’m wide awake & ready to rock!

I’m not tagging anyone in particular, but do pick it up if you’re interested & let me know so I can check out you’re listening pleasures, too!

does it work?

I’m so busy now that I hardly have time to bloghop, but I thought I’d share this one first before I disappear.

London 2012 unveiled the Olympic’s official logo the other day. Can you believe this graffiti icon cost us £400 000??

I have yet to read any positive remark about this “art” besides the committee’s & the design consultant’s bravado. They both claim this represents “hip London”. The dailies have been carrying alternative logos sent it by readers and their kids! One paper even went as far as rearranging the lego like pieces.

Hubby hates it. I don’t like it either. I was expecting something cute (and cuddly?) like previous Olympics’. How about you? Does this icon make you think “ohh Olympia”?
